With Greek, British, and Egyptian heritage, I’ve never felt much of an impediment to seeing the world from new and different angles.

Leading our Global Travel Advisor team is a delight. After all, we get to have conversations with travelers when they first get in touch with Black Tomato, listening to the places and experiences they most want to savor. Our job is to help you settle on a place, an idea, or even a feeling that you want to pursue. It’s then that we hand them over to one of our Travel Experts.

My first sight of Petra’s Treasury – or Al-Khazneh, as it’s also known – was at night, by candlelight. With my loved ones I walked through the towering rock formations in the dark, with only the stars and candlelit path to guide us. You could feel the heat on the rocks, still warm from the sun before, and there was a light breeze as we wandered through to arrive at the majestic, rose-tinted majestic rock-cut tomb.
